Overview

As the Vice President of Membership for the Persian Club, I took on the challenge of not just recruiting new members but also building a fun, welcoming culture that kept everyone coming back for more. I made sure each session was packed with engaging icebreakers and activities that people genuinely looked forward to. My goal was to create moments where members could connect, have fun, and discover friendships. What’s better than meeting your next best friend while cracking a puzzle?


One of my favorite activities was a scavenger hunt (yes, I love a good scavenger hunt). For this one, I took photos of all the executive board members, cut them into tiny puzzle pieces, and challenged the participants to put them back together. But that wasn’t the end of it. Once the puzzle was complete, I handed them an envelope containing a sentence encrypted with Caesar’s code. Watching the members work together to crack the code and solve the puzzles was not only fun but also a great way to build connections and foster teamwork. Leading these activities made every session something special, and it was a joy to see people bond through the fun moments we created.
